Biography
Masahiro Matsuoka is a Japanese actor and drummer. Born on 11 January 1977 in Sapporo, he joined the music group Tokio in 1990 and remained a member until the group's dissolution in 2025.
He made his acting debut in the 1990 television drama Aishiteru! Sensei. His first lead role came in the 1997 series Psychometrer Eiji. Matsuoka starred as Shin'ichi Ozaki in the 2004 film Godzilla: Final Wars and later appeared in the comedy series Yasuko to Kenji (2008). He has taken lead roles in numerous other dramas, including the 2003 taiga drama Musashi.
