Biography
Masako, also credited as 大岡雅子, was a Japanese actress and model. She played Shizuko Yamamura in the horror film Ring (1998), and reprised the role in Ring 2 (1999) and Ring 0: Birthday (2000).
Born in Tokyo in 1964, she began modelling in 1983 and appeared in magazines including an・an and Croissant. Her other film roles include Figaro Story (1991). She died in Tokyo in 2015.
