Biography
Masatsugu Hashimoto worked in Japanese film production, primarily at Daiei, as a production designer, production manager and producer. He is credited as production designer on Ugetsu (1953). He also served as executive in charge of production on Chikamatsu Monogatari (1954) and The Woman in the Rumor (1954), and as production manager on several other films including An Osaka Story (1957) and Ninja, a Band of Assassins (1962). Later credits include producer roles on titles such as Shichinin no onna suri (1958).
