Biography
Massimo Bonetti is an Italian actor and director. Born on 28 March 1951 in Rome, he began his career as a character actor before taking a leading role in Bim Bum Bam (1981). He has worked with directors including Paolo and Vittorio Taviani, Pupi Avati and Massimo Troisi.
Bonetti is known for his performances in The Night of the Shooting Stars (1982) as Nicola, Kaos (1984), Le vie del Signore sono finite (1987) and the television series La squadra (2000–2007), in which he played Inspector Pietro Guerra. He made his directorial debut with Quando si diventa grandi (2010) and later directed La settima onda (2015). In 2026 he received the Premio “Sette Colli”.
