Biography
Matias Boucard is a French cinematographer, also credited as Mathias Boucard. He trained as a cinematography technician in Saint-Quentin after growing up in Marseille and Les Saintes, and worked initially as an assistant camera, electrician and gaffer before becoming a camera operator and director of photography on features, television and commercials.
Boucard has shot numerous feature films since 2005. His credits include Athena (2022), Eiffel (2021), The Odyssey (2016), SK1 (2014) and Kompromat (2022). He served as cinematographer on Sacrifice (2026). He is a member of the AFC and has received nominations including a Lumière Prize shortlist for SK1.
