Biography
Matt Dearborn is an American television writer, producer and director. Born in Boulder, Colorado, he graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 1982 with a degree in Communication Studies. He began working in film and television production in the early 1980s before moving into writing.
Dearborn has written more than 100 produced television episodes. His credits include Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990), Eerie, Indiana (1991), Parker Lewis Can't Lose (1990), Sliders (1995) and The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994). He created the Disney Channel series Even Stevens (2000), for which he received three consecutive Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Children's Series; the series won a BAFTA Children's Award in 2001. With Tom Burkhard he co-created Zeke and Luther (2009) for Disney XD. Other credits include Cow Belles (2006) and Breaking In (2011).
