Biography
Matt Kuhn is an American television writer and producer. He began working on How I Met Your Mother (2005) as a script coordinator and writer, later serving as producer on the series. He also produced Barney’s Blog for the show’s website and co-wrote several tie-in books with the character Barney Stinson, including The Bro Code (2008) and The Playbook (2010).
Kuhn has written episodes for Fresh Off the Boat (2015) and Frasier (2023), and has worked as a producer on Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. (2021) and DMV (2025). He lives in Los Angeles.
