Biography
Matt Platts-Mills is a British film and television editor. He studied film at Bournemouth Art College after A-levels in science. He began his career as an edit assistant in a corporate video company and worked as a floor runner on the 1995 film Rob Roy.
Platts-Mills has edited a range of feature films and series. He collaborated with director Jon Wright on Tormented (2009), Grabbers (2012) and Robot Overlords (2015), on which he also served as script consultant. His credits include The Enfield Haunting (2015), Don't Knock Twice (2017), The Alienist (2018), The Gentlemen (2024) and Havoc (2025).
