Biography
Matthew D'Ambrosio is an American television writer. He began working in production roles on The Vampire Diaries (2009) from 2010, later serving as script coordinator, writers' assistant and researcher before becoming a staff writer and credited writer on episodes from season five onwards.
His writing credits on the series include the episodes Man on Fire (2014) and We Have History Together (2017), with story credits on I Could Never Love Like That (2015) and Somebody That I Used to Know (2016). He has also worked as script coordinator on The Umbrella Academy (2019).
D'Ambrosio joined The Witcher (2019) as script coordinator and later wrote episodes including Dear Friend... (2021) and Out of the Fire, Into the Frying Pan (2023), serving as staff writer and executive story editor.
