Biography
Matthew Flood Ferguson is an American production designer and set decorator. He studied communications and film theory at Emerson College and American University. He began his career in set decoration on feature films including Ruby Sparks (2012), Beautiful Creatures (2013), The Gift (2015) and Battle of the Sexes (2017).
Ferguson has collaborated frequently with Ryan Murphy. He transitioned to production design on projects such as Hollywood (2020), for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination, DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022), The Watcher (2022), Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (2024) and Monster: The Ed Gein Story (2025). He is the production designer on the forthcoming Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story (2026).
His other credits include episodes of Ratched (2020) and American Horror Story (2022). He is a member of the Set Decorators Society of America and the Television Academy.
