Biography
Matthew Gross is an American film and television producer. He studied economics at the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed a Master of Fine Arts degree there.
His credits include production on the short film Bronx Cheers (1991), for which he received an Academy Award nomination. He has worked as producer or executive producer on feature films including Joe Somebody (2001), Across the Universe (2007) and Fired Up! (2009), and on television series such as Body of Proof (2011–2013), Taken (2017–2018) and Big Sky (2020–2021). Gross produced the documentary EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert (2025).
He has held senior executive roles at companies including Wilshire Court Productions and EuropaCorp Television.
