Biography
Matthew Sand is a screenwriter. His credits include the screenplay and screen story for Deepwater Horizon (2016), directed by Peter Berg, and the screenplay and story for Ninja Assassin (2009), directed by James McTeigue. He also contributed uncredited script revisions to 10,000 BC (2008).
Sand grew up in Brooklyn and worked in fine art before moving to Los Angeles to write. He has written numerous screenplays and teleplays. Projects in development have included a BBC mini-series Lionhearts, a sequel to Act of Valor, and the spec Between the Dog & the Wolf.
