Biography
Mauro Castillo, also credited as Mauricio Castillo Rivas, is a Colombian actor, singer, composer, trombonist and music producer. Born on 6 June 1978 in Cali, he studied music with an emphasis in lyrical singing at the Universidad del Valle.
He first gained recognition in Latin America for playing Wilson Manyoma "Saoko" in the telenovela El Joe, la leyenda (2011) and as a former singer with the salsa group Grupo Niche. He voiced the character Félix in the Disney animated film Encanto (2021) and performed on its soundtrack, including the song "We Don't Talk About Bruno".
