Biography
Max Hurwitz is a television writer and producer. Early credits include staff writer on the series Birnkrant 616 (2006) and writer on the shorts Getaway (2007) and Passed Over (2009). He also wrote and produced on Simply Plimpton (2010).
Hurwitz served as staff writer and script coordinator on the AMC series Hell on Wheels (2011–2016), receiving writing credits on multiple episodes. Subsequent writing work includes episodes of Manhunt (2017), ZeroZeroZero (2020), El Candidato (2020), Django (2023) and Dark Winds (2022–). He wrote the screenplay for the film The Titan (2018) and has held producing roles on several of these projects.
