Biography
Max Werner is a writer and producer. He served as a writer on the comedy series The Colbert Report from 2009 to 2014.
His other credits include writing an episode of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2017), teleplay and story work on Red Oaks (2015–2016), the screenplay for the film Fun Size (2012), and writing Ode to Joy (2019). He has also contributed to Odd Mom Out (2016) and Night of Too Many Stars (2017).
Werner has won three Primetime Emmy Awards and multiple Writers Guild of America Awards for his work on The Colbert Report.
