Biography
Maya Maffioli is a film editor. Italo-British, she grew up in Italy before settling in London in the early 2000s, where she began working in post-production as a runner and assistant editor. She completed an editing MA at the National Film and Television School in 2008.
Maffioli has edited features including Beast (2018), Rocks (2020), Tell It to the Bees (2019), Encounter (2021), Ali & Ava (2022) — on which she also served as second unit director — and Goodnight Mommy (2022). She has worked repeatedly with directors Michael Pearce and Clio Barnard, and her credits also include episodes of the series Sherwood (2024).
