Biography
Megan Carroll is a writer and producer. She earned an MFA in film and television production from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 2019, having previously studied English and graphic design at Creighton University. While at USC she received the Jeffrey Jones Scholarship for Excellence in Writing and the Sloan Screenwriting Grant.
Carroll wrote the short films Wildflower (2019) and Tuesday (2019). She joined the production team on the sitcom Abbott Elementary (2021–), advancing from office production assistant to writer; she received a writing credit on one episode in 2026. She has also worked in production on Grown-ish.
