Biography
Mel Shimkovitz is an American actress and writer. She played Jude (also credited as Jules) in the Amazon series Transparent (2014–2015). She has writing credits on episodes of High Maintenance (2016), SMILF (2017) and Kevin Can Fk Himself (2021).
Earlier in her career she worked in visual effects and founded the independent record label Voodoo-Eros in the 2000s. She has also directed and appeared in several short films.
