Biography
Mervin Williams was an American actor. He was born on 28 January 1905 in New York City and died there on 20 June 1992.
His screen credits include the role of Hartwell in the 1954 film Salt of the Earth, as well as appearances in Joe Palooka in the Squared Circle (1950) and several other features, often in small or uncredited parts such as reporters. He also appeared in television episodes including Rebound (1952).
Williams had a stage career that included Broadway productions such as The Good Woman of Setzuan (1956).
