Biography
Michael C. Martin is an American screenwriter and television writer. His feature screenplay credits include Brooklyn's Finest (2010) and 10 Cent Pistol (2014), the latter of which he also directed. He contributed as a staff writer to the AMC series Hell on Wheels in 2014.
Martin grew up in East New York, Brooklyn, and studied film at Brooklyn College. Before entering screenwriting, he worked as a transit worker. His television writing credits include episodes of Sleeper Cell (2005), Lethal Weapon (2016), Shades of Blue (2016), Empire (2015–2020), Star (2016–2019), Wu-Tang: An American Saga (2019–2023) and Bad Monkey (2024). He has also received screenwriting credit on The Vatican Tapes (2015).
