Biography
Michael Convertino is an American composer and musician. Born on 14 March 1952 in New York City, he studied at Yale University and the Paris Conservatoire. In the early 1980s he played in the rock band The Innocents before moving into film scoring.
His credits include the scores for Frankenweenie (1984), Children of a Lesser God (1986), The Hidden (1987), Bull Durham (1988), Guarding Tess (1994), The Santa Clause (1994), Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995) and Jungle 2 Jungle (1997). He has collaborated repeatedly with director Randa Haines.
