Biography
Michael Laurence, born Michael Laurence Clarke, was an Irish actor. He was born on 7 April 1919 in Dublin, Ireland, and died on 19 November 1988 in New York City, New York, USA.
He played Michael Cassio in Orson Welles's 1951 film Othello. Other screen credits include For Them That Trespass (1949) and the short Return to Glennascaul (1952). He was the son of stained glass artist Harry Clarke.
