Biography
Michael-Leon Wooley is an American actor and singer. Born on 29 March 1971 in Fairfax, Virginia, he trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City.
Wooley made his Broadway debut in 1992 as an understudy in Five Guys Named Moe. Subsequent stage work includes national tours and Broadway roles in the 2000 revival of The Music Man and the 2003 revival of Little Shop of Horrors, in which he voiced Audrey II.
He is known for voicing Louis the alligator in the 2009 animated film The Princess and the Frog, playing Tiny Joe Dixon in Dreamgirls (2006), and providing additional voices in the Hotel Transylvania films. Other credits include Young Justice (as Darkseid), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and a role in Grand Theft Auto IV.
