Biography
Michael Perri is an American television writer and producer. Born on 5 November 1973 in Chicago, Illinois, he grew up in the city’s foster care system. After college he worked in cryptology and as a clandestine cyber-intelligence operative and consultant before moving to Los Angeles to pursue screenwriting following the death of his adoptive parents.
He has received staff writing positions on series including State of Affairs (2014) and The Blacklist (2013). Perri wrote a teleplay for an episode of State of Affairs and contributed a written-by credit to a 2019 episode of The Blacklist. Earlier credits include the web series Citizen Kate and the series Weed Shop (2009). He has participated in programmes such as NBC’s Writers on the Verge.
