Biography
Michael Peterson is a television writer and producer. He began his career in production roles, working as a production assistant on The Green Mile (1999) and in the production department on The Majestic (2001), credited as Michael G. Peterson.
Peterson joined the writing staff of Bones (2005) in season 4 and rose to become co-showrunner with Jonathan Collier for seasons 11 and 12. He contributed numerous episodes as writer, teleplay writer and story editor across the series run. He has also written episodes of Bull (2016), Tell Me a Story (2018) and Found (2023), and served as co-executive producer on several of these series.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Peterson has worked extensively in American network television.
