Biography
Michael Suby, also credited as Mike Suby, is an American composer for film and television.
He graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2000. His early film work includes The Butterfly Effect (2004) and The Butterfly Effect 2 (2006). He composed the score for the series The Vampire Diaries (2009–2017) across all eight seasons, as well as for Pretty Little Liars (2010–2017), The Originals (2013–2018) and Legacies (2018–2022).
Suby has received BMI and ASCAP awards for his work on Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries and Make It or Break It (2009–2010).
