Biography
Michal 'Hali' Zebede is an American writer, producer and director. She made her screenwriting debut as co-writer of the 2014 film The Humbling, a Philip Roth adaptation directed by Barry Levinson and starring Al Pacino and Greta Gerwig.
Zebede has written for television series including Castle (2009), on which she served as story editor and writer for twelve episodes in 2015–2016, Devious Maids (2014) and the Party of Five reboot (2020). She created and directed the docuseries ASPIREist (2016–2017), which won a National Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Innovation.
