Biography
Michel Charrel (1936–2026) was a French actor. Born in Tarare, Rhône, he studied at the Institut des hautes études cinématographiques and began appearing in films in the early 1960s.
He played small and often uncredited roles across several decades of French cinema. His credits include Belle de Jour (1967) as a footman, The Wise Guys (1965), Pasha (1968), This Man Must Die (1969), The Sicilian Clan (1969), Murmur of the Heart (1971), Incorrigible (1975) and Gandahar (1987, voice). Later appearances include The Country Doctor (2016) and The Salt of Tears (2020).
Charrel died in Paris on 14 February 2026.
