Biography

Michele Braga is an Italian composer born in Rome in 1977. He studied composition and orchestration with Alessandro Cusatelli after beginning as a self-taught musician.

Braga has composed scores for numerous Italian films, including They Call Me Jeeg (2015), Dogman (2018), I Can Quit Whenever I Want 2: Masterclass (2017), I Can Quit Whenever I Want 3: Ad Honorem (2017), Rose Island (2020), Freaks Out (2021) and Mixed by Erry (2023). He is credited as composer on the forthcoming Masterplan (2026).

His work has earned a Ciak d'oro award for best soundtrack for They Call Me Jeeg, a Soundtrack Stars Award for Freaks Out, and nominations for the David di Donatello and Nastri d'argento awards.
