Biography
Michelle Giroux is a Canadian actress born in Toronto in 1976. She studied drama from an early age and attended the National Theatre School of Canada at seventeen. After graduating, she joined the Stratford Festival Company for many seasons and toured to New York and Chicago.
She later trained in the inaugural class of the Canadian Film Centre Actors' Conservatory. Her screen credits include the lead role in the feature film Blood Pressure (2012), for which she received a Vancouver Film Critics Circle nomination, and the part of Dara Frankel in BlackBerry (2023). Television appearances encompass Black Mirror (2017), Anne with an E (2017), See (2019) and The Good Doctor (2023).
Giroux is married to actor Graham Abbey.
