Biography
Michelle L.M. Wong is a producer at Sony Pictures Animation. She joined the studio in 2002 as one of its first employees and has worked in various production roles on films including Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009), Hotel Transylvania (2012) and Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015).
Wong made her debut as a producer with Surf's Up 2: WaveMania (2017). She went on to produce Vivo (2021) and KPop Demon Hunters (2025). She graduated in graphic design from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
For her work on KPop Demon Hunters, Wong received the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2026 and the Producers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures.
