Biography
Michelle Roy is a New York-based costume designer and supervisor of the costume shop at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She holds an MFA in Costume Design from NYU Tisch and a BFA in Theatrical Production Arts from Ithaca College.
Her television and film credits include work as assistant costume designer on Pose (FX/Hulu), for which she shared a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Contemporary Costumes in 2021; Long Bright River (Peacock, 2025); Sunny (Apple TV+, 2024); Extrapolations (Apple TV+); The Outlaws (Amazon Prime/BBC); and Let the Right One In (Showtime). She has also designed for theatre and dance productions.
