Biography
Mike O'Shea Jr. is a cinematographer and Steadicam operator. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he graduated from Temple University in 1995 with degrees in Radio/Television/Film and Broadcasting.
Shortly after graduation he worked on specialty camera systems for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta. He has since served as Steadicam operator on films including Animal Factory (2000) and Rollerball (2002), and as camera operator on Brooklyn's Finest (2010) and Marvel's Jessica Jones (2015). He has worked as director of photography on episodes of The Blacklist (2013) and Damages.
He is the son of cinematographer Michael D. O'Shea and is married to Babita Hariani, who works in film equipment rental.
