Biography
Milan Jelić was a Serbian actor, director and screenwriter. Born in Rekovac in 1944, he graduated from the Academy for Theatre, Film, Radio and Television in Belgrade in dramaturgy.
He appeared as an actor in films including W.R.: Mysteries of the Organism (1971). As a director he made his feature debut with Bubašinter (The Bug Killer, 1971) and went on to direct comedies such as Rad na određeno vreme (1980) and Moj tata na određeno vreme (1982). He also wrote screenplays and stage plays, and received several Yugoslav and international awards. He died in Belgrade in 2023.
