Biography
Miles Hubley is an American screenwriter, director, producer and editor. He was born on 11 April 1985 in Boulder, Colorado, and studied at the University of Colorado and the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague. He is a member of the Writers Guild of America.
Hubley is known for co-writing the action comedy Runner (2026) with Tommy White; the screenplay appeared on the 2023 Black List of favoured unproduced scripts. The film, directed by Scott Waugh and starring Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson, was released in September 2026. Earlier credits include co-writing the short Lucid 8 (2013) and work on the Academy Award-winning documentary The Cove (2009) as additional cameraman and assistant editor. He has also written other projects such as The Shave.
