Biography
Minoru Takada (also credited as Noboru Takada; Japanese: 高田稔) was a Japanese actor and film producer. He appeared in more than 230 films from 1924 to 1971, beginning as a leading man in silent films of the 1920s and 1930s before taking supporting roles as authority figures in later decades.
He is known for his appearances in Toho science-fiction films, including the Commander in Battle in Outer Space (1959), a government official in Atragon (1963) and the Prime Minister in Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964). Takada was born on 20 December 1899 in Higashinaruse, Ogachi, Akita, Japan, and died on 27 December 1977 in Tokyo. His wife was the former actress Mikiko Mitsuki.
