Biography
Mirjana Ostojić was a Serbian costume designer and art historian. She began working in film costume design in 1966 and contributed to more than fifty productions over her career.
Her credits include WR: Mysteries of the Organism (1971), Time of the Gypsies (1988), The Misfit Brigade (1987), Occupation in 26 Pictures (1978) and Black Cat, White Cat (1998). She collaborated with directors including Dušan Makavejev, Emir Kusturica, Živojin Pavlović and Lordan Zafranović.
Ostojić received the Yugoslav Film Archive plaque for outstanding contribution to film art, a special recognition for contribution to national culture in Serbia, and the UFUS award for lifetime achievement in 2016. She died in Belgrade on 13 July 2024.
