Biography

Mitra Jouhari is an Iranian-American comedian, actress and writer. She was born on 18 January 1993 in West Chester, Ohio, and attended Ohio State University before moving to New York City to pursue comedy.

She co-founded the sketch comedy group Three Busy Debras and starred in the Adult Swim series of the same name (2020–2022), which she also created and wrote. Jouhari has written for Big Mouth, High Maintenance and Miracle Workers, and has acted in The Big Sick (2017), The Bear (2022) and Abbott Elementary (2021) as Sahar.
