Biography
M. J. Bassett (born Michael J. Bassett) is a British film and television director, writer and producer. She grew up in Newport, Shropshire, and was educated at Adams' Grammar School.
Bassett directed the feature films Deathwatch (2002), Wilderness (2006), Solomon Kane (2009) and Silent Hill: Revelation (2012). Since 2012 she has directed and written episodes of television series including Strike Back, Ash vs Evil Dead, Power, Altered Carbon, Reacher (2022), The Terminal List (2022) and Neagley (2026).
