Biography
Mogens Wieth was a Danish actor who appeared in more than 20 films between 1940 and 1962. He was born in Copenhagen on 16 September 1919 and died in London on 10 September 1962.
He is known for his roles as the Ambassador in Alfred Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956), Orla Leehmann in For freedom and justice (1949) and Crespel in The Tales of Hoffmann (1951). Wieth was the son of actors Carlo Wieth and Agnes Thorberg Wieth, and was married to actress Lily Weiding.
