Biography
Mohsen Maleki is an Iranian makeup designer and occasional actor. He began his artistic work in theatre as a child and trained professionally under Farhang Moayeri from 1987 while completing military service. He has contributed makeup design to numerous Iranian films and television productions since the early 1990s.
His credits include makeup design on Bita Is Restless (2012), Appendix (2017), Zerk (2018) and Esfand (2025). He also appears as a Security Guard in It Was Just an Accident (2025). Maleki has held leadership roles in the Iranian makeup artists' association and taught at cinema institutes.
