Biography
Monica Merlin was an English actress. She was born Monica Joan Merlin on 6 March 1905 in Hornsey, Middlesex, and died on 9 November 1985 in Dacorum, Hertfordshire.
Her screen credits include the role of Mrs Rendlesham in Roman Polanski's Repulsion (1965). She appeared in several British television productions of the 1960s, among them episodes of Armchair Theatre, ITV Play of the Week, No Hiding Place and Public Eye. Earlier stage work included the part of Viola in When I Played Viola at the Mercury Theatre.
