Biography
Monique Dury is a French costume designer, occasionally credited as Monique Dury-Thily or Monique Dury-Tholy. She designed costumes for approximately thirty-five French or co-produced films from 1967 to 1995.
She worked on six films directed by François Truffaut, including Day for Night (1973), Small Change (1976), The Man Who Loved Women (1977), The Green Room (1978), Love on the Run (1979) and L'Argent de poche (1976). She also collaborated with Bertrand Tavernier on several projects, among them Death Watch (1980) and A Sunday in the Country (1984). Other credits include L'Argent (1983), La Chèvre (1981) and César et Rosalie (1972).
Dury provided costumes for the first five episodes of the television series Les Brigades du Tigre (1974) and the miniseries Marie-Marie (1981). She appeared in small acting roles in four Truffaut films.
