Biography
Monique Teisseire is a French film editor. She worked as assistant editor on several films directed by Jacques Demy in the early 1960s, including Lola (1961), Sign of the Lion (1962) and Bay of Angels (1963).
She received an editing credit, alongside Anne-Marie Cotret, on Demy’s The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964). Later credits as editor include Mr. Freedom (1968), Êtes-vous fiancée à un marin grec ou à un pilote de ligne? (1970) and Comme un pot de fraises (1974). Her documented work spans assistant and editing roles on French feature films from the late 1950s to the late 1970s.
