Biography
Monique Zavistovski is a documentary film editor. She edited Will & Harper (2024), directed by Josh Greenbaum, which premiered at Sundance and received an ACE Eddie Award for Best Edited Documentary Feature, along with a Peabody Award, a Critics Choice Award and nominations for a BAFTA and Emmys.
Her other credits include The Only Girl in the Orchestra (2023), which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film, The American Meme (2018) and Raise Hell: The Life and Times of Molly Ivins (2019). She has edited more than forty documentaries and short films, with work that has screened at Sundance and won awards internationally.
Zavistovski holds an MFA in Cinematic Arts from the University of Southern California and a BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
