Biography
Morgan O'Sullivan is an Irish producer based in Dublin. Born in May 1945, he began his career in broadcasting with RTÉ, worked in production management in Australia, and later returned to Ireland where he established World 2000 Entertainment and O'Sullivan Productions.
He has produced or executive produced numerous film and television projects for major studios and streamers. These include serving as producer on the Showtime series Penny Dreadful (2014–2016), executive producer on six seasons of Vikings (2013–2020) and three seasons of Vikings: Valhalla (2022–2024), all four seasons of The Tudors (2007–2010), and producer credits on films such as The Last Duel (2021), Braveheart (1995), The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), King Arthur (2004), Ella Enchanted (2004) and Becoming Jane (2007).
O'Sullivan received an IFTA award for Outstanding Contribution to Irish Film in 2011 and the IFTA for Best Drama Series for Vikings in 2017. His companies develop original scripted drama and provide production services for international productions filming in Ireland.
