Biography
Myung Joh Wesner is an American writer and producer. She has contributed to several television series, including as writer and executive story editor on Death and Other Details (2024), writer on one episode and producer on twelve episodes of High Potential (2024–2025), and writer on two episodes of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (2024).
She is credited as writer on the forthcoming film The Devil's Mouth (2026). Earlier credits include additional writing on the series Adaptation (2021, as M.J. Wesner). She has also worked as a supervising producer on the series CIA (2026).
Wesner previously planned to write novels before scripting for a Greencard Pictures HuffPost series. She co-wrote the feature APEX with Aja Gabel, which appeared on the 2019 Black List and was optioned by eOne. She sold the pilot Safe House to ABC Signature and has staffed on series for Apple TV+ and Disney+. She co-directs as part of the team Watchbot with her husband Aaron.
