Biography
N.D. Wilson is an American writer, filmmaker and author. He has written and directed short films and the feature The River Thief (2016), and served as creator and executive producer on the animated series Hello Ninja (2019–2021), based on his picture book.
Wilson wrote teleplays and episodes for the biblical drama series House of David (2025) and acted as co-executive producer on the first season. He is also known for documentary work including The Riot and the Dance (2020).
Born Nathan David Wilson in 1978 in Moscow, Idaho, he is the son of theologian Douglas Wilson and has published several series of young adult fiction.
