Biography
Nancy Hower is an American director, writer, producer and former actress. She trained at the Juilliard School and began her career on stage before appearing in film and television, including a recurring role as Ensign Samantha Wildman in Star Trek: Voyager (1995–2001).
She made her feature directorial debut with the mockumentary Memron (2004), which she also wrote and which won the Audience Award at the Slamdance Film Festival. Hower has directed numerous television episodes, including for Insatiable (2018), Teachers (2016), So Help Me Todd (2022), Zoey 102 (2023), Elsbeth (2024) and High Potential (2024–). She co-created and directed the series Quick Draw (2013–2014) and 10 Items or Less (2006–2009).
