Biography
Nancy Price (born Lilian Nancy Bache Price) was an English actress, author and theatre director. She began her stage career in repertory theatre around 1900 and appeared in London's West End before moving into silent films from 1916, talkies and television. She co-founded the People's National Theatre in 1930 and produced over eighty plays.
Price is known for her screen role as Mrs. Crozier in I Know Where I'm Going! (1945). Her other film appearances include The Stars Look Down (1940), Carnival (1946), The Three Weird Sisters (1948) and Mandy (1952). She received the CBE in 1950 for services to the stage and gave her final stage performance that year.
